A Funding Agreement for the development and implementation of a Men’s Centre recently expired and is in negotiation.

The key capability advancement to CRAC since the recruitment of the experienced management partnering of the CEO and GM, is the ability for the organisation to develop program and implementation plans and initiatives that are tailor-made to suit the specific needs identified in Coen. CRAC has a demonstrated capability of pulling together project teams to deliver specific program plans to government and non-government organisations which outline what the community priorities are and how initiatives should be rolled out in the community.
Over the past five years, CRAC designed and implemented locally led community engagement strategies resulting in design of program/operational plans for the Coen Women’s Support Centre, Coen’s Men’s Group program, the Coen Local Thriving Communities initiative, Coen Justice Program and the Coen Arts Centre project.
Local Thriving Communities & Coen Local Leadership Group – CRAC commenced implementation of a Local Thriving Communities agenda in 2023, with the Queensland Government. This includes supporting a Local Leadership Group for Coen who will be an interface between Coen and the Queensland Government, reflecting local issues requiring attention and/or support.
